The meeting,devoted to the 1st anniversary of the bloodshed event which was in Andijon on 13th of may ,took place in Carnegie Institute in Washington DC on 9th may 2006 . Mr.John McCain,senator of the USA ,participated in this event.

The day Line context consisted of such problems as:

1. Scattered local people in Andijon on 13th may 2005;

2. Problems of Human Rights in Uzbekistan;

3. Political situations in Uzbekistan.

During the feed back I turned to Mr Senator John McCain and asked “ Shall we struggle against Karimov’s system in Uzbekistan or censorship in “Liberty” Radio broadcasting? ” When interpreter translated my words,it was burst of laughing in the hall. Certainly,Senator didn’t expect this question,and he immediately faced to the Board of Broadcasting Governors (BBG) which was sitting on the first row. Naturally,they hadn’t enough information about this problem. Temporary head of the radio “Liberty” Don Johnson agreed with hard-to get things in the radio and said that this problem has been deeply learned.

After the meeting Galima Bukharbaeva came to me up:“You should have asked Senator John McCain for other aids. Radio “Liberty” has been doing its duties well,hasn’t it?” and was angry with me.

-‘To make democratic changes in Uzbekistan we need free mass media. But the Radio “Liberty” keeps in a dispute of one side and censorship last times.” I tried to explain to G.Bukharbaeva,but all my endeavors were helpless. Because she hadn’t any information of one side news which are given in Uzbek department of the Radio. Galima believed and was sure that all journalists of the radio do their job well. I’m going to explain my fights against to be in one side dispute of the radio and censorship in my some following articles:

Question: I want to stop the hungry announce company of Choriyev’s family. Imagine,during the ruler of L. Brejnev 1970-1980 KGB pursued people who was in some other way of mind and put them into hospitals for soul illness or to prisons. Dissidents were made run away to abroad. even though a writer A. Soljenitcin for written book was arrested,then unwillingly was sent to abroad( he was awarded with international Nobel prize in 1975),academician A. Sakharov was banishment to Gorkiy.in 1980. what would be If at that time a group of citizens who considered themselves as democrats declared hungry in Washington DC and on the protection of KGB would gone out with the placards,” KGB officers do their job well,but only L. Brejnev is accused all the fault” ? (Shuhrat)

Answer: You know ,B Choriyev who lives in the USA as a leader of Birdamlik Movement (BM) announced hungry action near the Congress of the USA on 13 march,2006. He declared about it either the USA Government or wide public society. Somebody can support him but others can be against to him. It’s natural circumstance.

First,To show one’s opposition with any ways is citizen’s choice,and rights. Nobody can take away him this right.

Second, the Democratic Congress of Uzbekistan (DCU) is the organization with its own regulation. That’s why all the actions of Choriyev we can either support or not,morally. Another way of saying,this is the DCU members’ personal desires. They can support either with something or not. Now if we come to Shuhrat’s question,this question,to my opinion,appeared because of not knowing the subject deeply. It’s naturally too. Because B.Choriyev’s demands are serious and if they are achieved,either Shuhrat or thousands of opponents and Karimov’s slaves will benefit from it.

Why is he going to achieve his aims by hunger action if there is nobody who insults the democracy during the democratic circumstances? Can there be something that made him to do it? Why do pursued people go on pickets in Uzbekistan? There might be a reason which made B. Choriyev to choose this way? That’s why you shouldn’t come to urgent conclusion but you should discuss this problem. By the issued letters of B. Choriyev,he suggested three questions:

First, not censorship in Uzbek deportment in RBC “Liberty”;

Second, do not always give an opportunity to a violence fighting for democracy,but give an equal place for every members of opposition in Radio “Liberty”;

Third, divide one form place for every directions of opposition and do not deny the democracy by the radio. We were informed about his facing to the board of the radio by these problems,and he also wrote a letter to the USA government.

This letter is in the web site of www.birdamlik.info. So,neither they listened to his demands nor worked nobleman relationship with him.

In my opinion,Bakhodir is right with his demands. The Uzbek department of Radio “Liberty” must exempt the censorship and must leave the place of democracy. If the staff of the radio refused,many listeners demand who will pay taxes for their salary;it’s more much worse than KGB and L. Brejnev’s ways of ruling. How can radio staff has done good things before,and now refusing to listen the demands of B.Choriyev,they can spoil everything now. And they’d have insulted the saint idea of the word freedom. If every Uzbek who lives in the U.S. like B. Choriyev,be active for the fights of freedom “Liberty” will serve for liberty and never insult the word freedom,in opposite it will be the same Karimov’s back. “Liberty” hasn’t been using all the given opportunities to trust on and its possibilities. Today there is nothing left from the “Liberty” beginning of 2005. It’s not only my opinion. This problem is discussed in www.uzbekcongress.org sites and in monitoring which are held in Uzbekistan. Even though,who can have opportunities to speak in the radio every day and also discuss this problem with us in our monitoring? So,there is something to think about.

P.S. By some people,there is standing DCU beyond the B.Choriyev’s actions. This is without any arguments. The letter which Bakhodir wrote to the leader of Tashkent department of “Birdamlik” Shuhrat Ahmadjanov and also got the copy to me is a proof of it.” Assalomu Alaykum (Hello) Shuhrat aka,how are you? I’m going to hunger protest not from DCU but from the “Birdamlik”(BDM).It does not belong to Jahongir Mamatov. I don’t know how much you are informed,we,the members of BM created the web site www.birdamlik.info in November 2005 and we have been always working on its developing since. We announced this site to widen our society in January 2006. The main aim of the site is without any violence to gain and give information and call all volunteers to join us on fighting the system. I asked radio board and journalists to be interviewed about it several times.

They refused me an interview with the arguments like;I have planned rebellion for national liberation. And Radio policy doesn’t match with my articles which I’m going to broaden. They gave me a strict answer with the explanations that radio policy is president J. Bush’s and the USA Congress’s duty. After this answer I asked them not to choke my word of freedom and the members of opposition like me…

What has changed in radio “Liberty” since march 2006?

That year after holding the open action,we came back with good promises from the Radio board. We sometimes didn’t like to press radio’s authority because of believing that everything would be fine. Unfortunately,the board and journalists of the radio instead of turning circumstance into well position,they throw stones to our side with exclamation “you can do only this.” After that event,radio became to censor not only to us but to other members of opposition too.

The article which is issued in below was written three years ago and has not lost its importance today,yet. Give yourself a fair attention,please. Has any changes been done against censorship in the Radio last few years?

Travelling to Washington D.C.

I have been living in America for more than a year. During this year I was in Washington three times. I’ m glad that I could be helpful on the whole foundation of the DCU during my three visits to Washington DC. The Saint Louis city,where I live is 900 mile,about 1500 km from Washington DC. I got there by bus and by plane last my three times when I visited there. But my next visit’s aim was to demonstrate a family protest to the Radio “Liberty” censorship against “Birdamlik Movement” and declare family hunger action in Washington DC. That’s why my wife and our four children departed to Washington DC. in our car VAN at 5 o’clock in the morning on March 12th. Every spheres in America is Computerization. I printed the direction to Washington DC at home from the internet. It described the length of our trip in every distance and its pass time and number of the roads on this map. It’s too difficult to go without any map in the American roads. There is a rest area every 50 mile on the road. Every lorry or motorcar drivers can come and rest in any time they like. There are some free facilities and toilets there for use. It is,of course,very amusable. We,during our traveling to Washington DC,also used those facilities,even we stayed in one of those rest areas and slept in our car.

The censorship In “ Liberty” Radio

Here it is 15 years I.Karimov’s system. The opposition has been disconnectedness every day,in opposite the system is being strong. A group of members of the government are becoming rich because of the corruption. The typical population go into poverty from the poorness. Many men and even women are surviving as a hired workman in Uzbekistan. Country people who have very low living standards are picking the wheat remnants in the wheat fields for winter,surviving after the harvest. Our young men are suffering from emigration,being hired as workman in order to survive and our young women are made to go into prostitution in order to support their families. Every sphere in Uzbekistan is in hard economy crisis and falls in decree.

Our future is in the hands of the corruption group with a leader as Karimov. If so,in spite of being where,we must fight against the system. It’s all our duty. There are many types of struggles and our “Birdamlik Movement” from its beginning declared struggle without violence and is fighting only with this way. Our aim is to spread the method of struggle among the population;without violence but not to obey the system and to fight against the system with this way together. We have chosen “Liberty” radio as main sours of agitation as the way of fighting. At the end of January I had talked to some radio journalists and its leader Sojida Jaffarova about BM’s aims,it’s method of struggle,done works,and created sites by this aim. They had delayed the interview with me,but wasn’t given to broad. I hardly demanded from Sojida Jafforova to explain the aim of the delaying . She sharply answered that we are going to shake people and it’s not the same with radio policy,that’s why our sites and also all information about BM will not be given in radio. To my answer the person who dictates the policy in radio,she said,it’s the duty of the president of the USA and the Congress. By the history we know that the radio “Liberty” had big contribution in the breaking up the Red Empire. Nowadays the radio “Liberty” departments in other languages are making strong broadcasting programs about peoples’ freedom,opening the real face of cruel,despot systems’ dictators’ and broad the democracy in all over the world.

Crossing on the censorship in Uzbek department of the Radio,I asked them to exempt it during the month;otherwise,I would declare family hunger action in front of the USA Congress. The month has passed but the Radio board didn’t take our warning into consideration. We arrived in Washington DC with my family on March 13th and began our hunger action. Don Jensen one of the board members of the radio “Liberty” knew our coming to Wash.DC. He immediately invited us to the USA Headquarters of the Radio “Liberty” and listened to us and learned our demands. We came back to Congress and were going on hunger action. On March 15th I had a meeting with the congressman from the state of Missouri Rus Carnahan. I gave him the copy of the letter written before with the agree to return to Missouri and would talk about those matters there. We stuck the written demand papers on all the sides of our car near the congress. First,one policeman came up near us and asked to go away from there,otherwise he warned us to punish with 20$ ticket. I agreed with him but he asked me to pay a fine,and then called for help from other people. They asked for the aim of my coming,looked through my documents. Soon some specialists from children’s observe service came and examined children’s conditions. We didn’t let our children to take part in hunger action. Children’s inspector asked my children about the food which they had last times and recently. And he wanted our children’s free accommodation in the hotel. We refused with the arguments that our friend looked after them and took to his home every night and onward he would agree to care for them. On March 14th manager of Uzbek department of the radio “The voice of America” Javdat Sayhon came to meet us and disappeared after learning our demands from the stuck papers on the car. We stopped the hunger action near the Congress,but continued it near the offices of the BBC and the radio “American voice” on March 16th. Mr. Sayhon came to us and told us that we will be interviewed at 10 o’clock. But about 11 o’clock Mr. Sayhon was sorry for hadn’t had any five minutes to interview us neither next day nor next week. This is the way of Uzbek democracy! After all of that how I can believe their liberalism and broad any true information by the Radio. At 13 o’clock on March 16th,official representatives of the Radio “Liberty” came to us. We had a long talk and I was interviewed. The official representative promised,having learned our demands,by the board of the Radio “Liberty” that we would be answered officially. We stopped the hunger action on March 16th. I appreciate from the name of my family to our Uzbek countrymen,personally to Jahongir Mamatov,Zokir Ali,Jamshid Ochilov,Alisher Khamidov and others for coming to see and be interested our conditions and for their moral supports.

We are against to dictatorship in the Radio ‘Liberty’, but not Radio!

We decided to begin our strong struggle against I. Karimov’s regime. And also tried to develop ‘Birdamlik” movement more widely:created a movement site,issued its aim and asked the Radio “Liberty” to give a speech place for an opposition in the radio. We wanted our Uzbek people to know about this movement and were informed about every step of the movement in fighting for freedom. We talked about it with the journalists of the Radio “Liberty” Shuhrat Bobojon,Hurmat Bobojon,Alisher Siddiq and others. But they couldn’t give us clear answers and we were made to ask the radio board to receive us. After talking with the authorities,we were interviewed by Sh. Bobojon two times but he didn’t broad them by the radio because of some caused mistakes. Next time it caused something else. After refusing next our asks we put our demands in front of the radio. We are also the members of opposition and we asked to be allowed to give our ideas by the radio broadcasting. We demanded to give 10 minutes broad every day to ‘Birdamlik” Movement,we also asked leader of the radio Sojida Jafarovo to answer our letter during that month. She refused explaining:“Your aim is to do colored revolution in Uzbekistan and this political movement is not the same with the policy of the Radio.” To our question who can solve this problem, she answered to appeal to the USA government and Congress. On March 13th,2006 we came with my family to American Congress in Wash. D.C. and declared a one week hunger action. We met the members of Congress and the authorities of the Radio “Liberty” there. We stopped the hunger action after getting their promise not to bring censorship to “Birdamlik” Movement and making all the facilities for our activities in radio. After this event really,even though little,it was given some information about the Movement by the radio. But it was not enough to satisfy our demands. For example,I couldn’t cast anything once in the radio waves during the year. Our activities are going well but the Radio intentionally trying not to broad the name of “Birdamlik” by the radio. They always call Dilorom Ishakhova as a permanent active of opposition but she is a leader of the movement in Uzbekistan. First of all,I must tell that radio “Liberty” is a political radio. It was founded in 1953.Formly it was a private but now it is supporting by the USA Congress. It’s aim was to decompose the Soviet Union. The radio achieved its goals in 90s. After 1990 the radio had changed its way and began its anti-dictator regime policy in the world. The Uzbek department of the radio was succeeded much in this fighting too.

Under the leader of Adolat Najimova the radio did much useful and justice examples. She unemployed the radio because of false blame of Shuhrat Bobojonov and other uncased rumors. After her retirement,the Radio had lost its justice and had turned into one side action,namely was busy to boast the fraction of Muhammad Solikh in the party “Erk” (“Freedom”).In this circumstance,to be in a dispute of one side and unjust position is contrary to the radio’s principles.

The new leader Sojida Jafarova because of unknowing Uzbek language,Uzbek culture and traditions and being far from opposition employed Khurmat Bobojonov as a vice leader. The creative atmosphere in the radio has been spoiling after her coming to the Radio…

The radio had turned into speech place for only Mukhammad Solikh and his colleagues. Today Uzbek opposition activities and other organizations in the opposition are made boycott to the Radio. There were some letters written to the board and to the broadcasting office. Radio must listen to everyones complain even if it’s from only one person and not only from the whole organization and do its best to correct every mistake which was done. We want Sojida Jafarova to retire and put in a true way Shuhrat and KHurmat Bobojonovs’ activities in the radio. If our demands won’t put into consideration by them,we’ll continue our boycott. And we are planned to organize dissatisfied demonstrations and hunger actions against the Radio “Liberty”. Shuhrat,Khurmat and their brother Qudrat Bobojonovs,under the false names,spread the rumors in the web sites of “ponaUz.info” among the society,likewise we;the members of Uzbek opposition sent a letter to American Congress and the Radio board with the only aim to close the Radio “Liberty”. It’s wrong,we are in a dispute of clear atmosphere in the Radio but not its closing. We are against the dictator regime in the radio. The radio “Liberty’ needs to be clear and justice in its broadcasting and it must do its best in its activities. We want to be in the shoulders of the Radio staff in this saint way.

The meeting was conducted by Bakhodir Uzakov.

The day line with three questions was confirmed.

1.Admission of Mamurjon Abdugafforov to the Movement and his election as a vice leader of European department.

2. Discussion of some activities and organize picket anti “Liberty” Radio.

3.Other questions.

First,It was discussed the question to admit Mamurjon Abdugafforov as a member of the Movement and his election to the position of vice leader of European department. The participants of the meeting admitted him in one voice to “Birdamlik” Movement as a member and elected as a vice leader of European department.

Second,we discussed the organization of pickets of “Birdamlik” anti “Liberty” radio’s one side position and censorship in the Radio. Participants of the meeting had talked about some journalists and their activities in the radio ”Liberty,” especially,brothers Bobojonovs who are in a dispute of one side position and they don’t like to give a speech place in the radio to other movements and parties actives,besides “Erk” party members. The active member of “Birdamlik” Yodgorbek Turlibekov said that radio “Liberty” didn’t give any information to our movement’s action “freedom to Yusuf Juma,” which was held on July 6th -7th -8th in the USA By the Radio. “They were informed aboutplanned action early” said Yodgorbek Turlibekov. Isoqjon Zakirov who took place in that picket also confirmed this expression. In his speech Leader of “Birdamlik” Bakhodir Choriyev did some commentaries why movement took anti “Liberty” Radio position. It must be clear atmosphere in the radio and journalists must stop to be in a dispute of one side position. The radio can’t do its best in activities because of leader’s shortage of knowledge Uzbek language,and activities of opposition. That’s why it needs to retire of the leader of radio and brothers Bovojonovs. We demand it!’ said B. Choriyev. Uzbek opposition sent letters to the director of board of the radio about this problem several times,even though boycotted. But our demands are not put into the consideration by the board.

By this reason,“Birdamlik” active members decided to organize hunger actions in Wash. DC where Radio’s board is situated,near the Radio editorship in Prague,and near the USA ambassador in Stockholm,the capital city of Sweden. The picket time was set on August 10th by the participants.

Third,the leader of the North Sweden movement of “Birdamlik” Georgiy Morozov had a speech. “Sweden has become a leader of the European Union since the 1st of July. It would be better to use the opportunity and send our suggestions and demands to Sweden parliament when EU countries’ ministers came to Sweden”,he said. G. Morozov’s suggestion was discussed and confirmed in one voice and came into one conclusion by the achievement of this action. So,following the meeting of “Birdamlik” Movement came into its end.

“Birdamlik” Movement is planning hungry actions in Washington DC and

in Prague.

“Birdamlik” Movement demanded the board of the radio “Liberty” to make clear the atmosphere in the radio and put end the position being in a dispute of one side and retiring the leader of Uzbek department of the radio Sojida Jafarova and members of “Erk” Liberal party brothers Bobojonovs. We warned if our demands aren’t put into the consideration during two months we’ll organize unstopped open demonstrations near the offices of the Radio “Liberty” in Washington DC and Prague.

The month is passing. Unfortunately,we can’t see any positive changings in the Radio yet. At the beginning of this month the Radio has announced spare position to the leader of Uzbek department in the radio “Liberty”. Of course,it is the one of the best steps into a positive direction in the radio. But it’s not complete change in the radio;likewise announcement was spread among the society two years ago too. Some professional person with big experience was applied,but Solida Jafarova,the leader of department,besides knowing Uzbek remained in her position by the reason of not to be selected the perfect specialist for this position. We can’t say that they are going to act last play one more again this time. The creative work in Uzbek department of the radio “Liberty” must be changed completely. Oppositely,because of the unreal position of some journalists who are ill with having relationship feelings,the opposition will not be able to speak and casting own ideas in the radio. “Birdamlik” Movement considers that to pay attention to this circumstance is extremely important and if its demands don’t be satisfied it will begin hunger actions. More than ten members of the movement who live in the USA willingly take part in these actions. The leader of the “Birdamlik” Movement Bahodir Choriev is ready to have an appointment with the board of the Radio once again in Washington DC. After this appointment it will be accepted one decision by the hunger action,it’s time and taking place. There are two months until the demonstration. It’s the good opportunity to the radio board to think one more again about the demands. We hope,Radio “Liberty’ and its board will learn “Birdamlik” Movement’s demands and find positive possibilities to solve.

Isn’t the Radio “Liberty” speech place for thousands of choked people?

Dear readers of “Birdamlik.info”,I’m willing to express my opinion about the radio “Liberty” and its activities in this in my statement. You know,the radio “Liberty” was founded by the USA Government and it’s been being supported by the Congress of the USA. The main idea of the “Liberty” radio is to be in opposition to violence and dictator regimes,and struggle against incorrect ruling,factually to broadcast and spread real analyzed news among the society by the radio. The radio was mainly directed to the USSR then. The main aim of the USA government was to discompose the USSR with the friendship peace way. And the USA government achieved its goals in 1991. The USSR was melted like ice and disappeared. The independent countries replaced it;later these countries came into one consideration and founded Independent Countries Cooperation.

(December 11th,1991).

The USA Government was not satisfied of discomposing the USSR and had been continued its broadcasting in the Languages of ICC. The USA Government moved the headquarters of the Radio “Liberty” from Munkhen Germany to Prague the capital of the Chekh Republic to achieve quality broadcasting. The basic task of the Radio “Liberty” today is to converse to the opposition members and actives in other groups;to broadcast real news to listeners;it must try to. The Radio “Liberty’ must give equal opportunity to every opposition parts:“ Birlik khalk harakati”,“ERK” democratic party,“Ozod dekhqonlar” party and societies for human rights to have speech time in the radio. And also the Radio must give to “Birdamlik” a ten minute speech time for broadcasting. The radio “Liberty’ has four hours broadcasting every day. Instead of revising one news,it’d be better to share the casting with opposition members. The radio needs to make some position changes. May be after that “Birdamlik” movement can be supplied casting time in the Radio,they must not be scared to think. Every Uzbek,who lives either in Uzbekistan or in an abroad,enjoys listening to the radio “Liberty”

The Radio “liberty” should express peoples’ determination,doesn’t it? If it does,it needn’t to forget who haven’t had any chance to cast in the Radio are also the representatives of Uzbek people. The radio “Liberty” unlike BBC and “American voice” has its own way of making programs. It is an appeared question,why do strange people who not belonged to the radio determine opposition movements’ or other unions’ broadcasting in the radio? Do they support radio with money or things? Why does the Radio staff support the people’s selecting company in the radio? Why the radio casting is not equal for everybody? These questions mark the Radio works not satisfactory. I hope,the Radio Board will think seriously about it,will rebuild its place as justice for choked people,no any censorship,and never mind every peoples’ casting there again like before. As its main Principe is to give opportunity to everybody who is ready to speak in the radio. Oppositely,the radio like Uzbek mass media will serve only one circle person’s desires and will be appeared as “in a service”.

The leader of “Birdamlik” had an appointment with the vice -president of the Radio “Liberty”.

The leader of “Birdamlik” movement Bakhodir Choriyev had an appointment with the vice -president of the Radio “Liberty” Martin Zvaners yesterday. During the meeting the leader of “Birdamlik marked the activities of Uzbek department of the Radio”Liberty” and the big successes of the Radio journalists in positive continent news broadcasting. Also he said that the radio has been in a dispute of opposite position in according to Uzbek democratic opposition,it’s contribution in world democracy,it’s aims,and the method of struggle. Bahodir Choriev told him that “Birdamlik” movement has been putting attention to this problem since January 2006,and also provided anti Radio actions. He applied to stop censorship in the radio several times,but radio staff limited only empty promises. “During the meeting I requested to retire the leader of Uzbek department in the radio Sojida Jafarova who set the censorship in the radio,also she is far from the Uzbek opposition and the real life in Uzbekistan. The leader of the fraction of party “Erk” Muhammad Solikh and brothers Shuhrat and Khurmat Bobolonovs have been made friends and are supported by the radio more than others. It mustn’t be allowed any relationship in the radio. That’s why I requested vice president to remove aside the brothers for their incapable professionalism.” Said B.Choriyev.—“If the radio board doesn’t satisfy our requests during two months we’ll be made to provide unlimited hunger actions near the Radio buildings in Washington DC and in Prague. During the actions we’ll also ask for ten minutes casting for “Birdamlik” movement in the radio.”

Martin Zvaners promised to B.Choriyev to discuss these problems with the Radio board,and he asked to be handed the opponents’ list who never had broadcasting time in the Radio. B. Choriev promised to supply the list if the Radio board comes to compromises with the opposition. They also discussed the letter issued in “Yangi Dunyo” ,insulted the members of Uzbek opposition which was sent from the Radio “Liberty” under the name of Anvar Karimov to the press center leader of “Birdamlik,” journalist Usuf Rasulov. It was reminded that the copy of this letter was sent to personally Martin Evarents too. He said to remark his attitude to this letter on around of his authority. Statement.

Brothers Bobojonovs in the radio of “Liberty”,who make none,stopped propaganda M. Solikh and his party remembers the proverb “the frog is on the log”. It seems that Bobojonovs owned the Radio and M Solikh with his party “Erk” lent the Radio. Likewise there are many other opponent parties in Uzbekistan. Unfortunately,the Radio broadcasting is allowed only M. Solikh and members of his party or who boast his activities. What type of democracy is it? Do Bobojonovs know when they do propaganda M. Solikh, they also do propaganda terrorism? Offended of his fate M Solihk has already become terrorist. Nowadays his statement in the internet sites about his future “Zargaldoq” revolution makes everybody burst of laughing. How can he do it? Can it be any revolution in Uzbekistan with peace way? It’s only M. Solikh’s one more show again,because opposition’s abroad leader should say something from time to time. He tells lies for earning his life. He has a big practice to be supported by some organizations for his false plans and promises. His promise about revolution is his one more game and we are used as being his joker. It is not amazing to see different games in the political struggle.

Today we need neither M.Solikh nor his bloodshed revolution which is only on his words. Today we need prosperity,peaceful life!

Following articles have been prepared by the journalists of the radio “Liberty”. These articles must be learn deeply. Everybody knows,it’s hard to organize any demonstrations or opposition events in Uzbekistan. In spite of all difficulty and obstacles “Birdamlik” People’s democratic movement organized some of these events. Unfortunately,instead of broadcast our activities in the radio some journalists tried to laugh at us in front of Uzbek people and to neglect our actions. That kind of negative position according to our movement has become real manners. They are used to be disdain and ridiculously to “Birdamlik”. The basic tasks of the radio “Liberty” is to be closer to opposition members and should broadcast real news about opposition activities. The radio must do equal facilities of broadcasting to “Birdamlik” People’s democratic movement,“ERK” democratic party,“Ozod dekhqonlar” party and Human rights societies. All of them should have their own time of casting in the radio. For example for “Birdamlik” should be done in ten minutes casting time. The radio “Liberty” has four hours broadcasting in Uzbek language every day. Instead of revising old news several times it’s better to give an opportunity to opposition casting time in the Radio. Maybe to set casting time to “Birdamlik” People’s democratic movement in the radio,some people in the radio should be changed? We shouldn’t be scare of thinking about it. Uzbek people enjoy listening to the radio “Liberty’ either in Uzbekistan or in abroad. The radio “Liberty” should express peoples’ power,doesn’t it. If it is so,you shouldn’t forget that some people who aren’t allowed to broadcast in the Radio are a part of Uzbek people too. “Liberty” Radio unlike of “American voice” or BBC has its way of broadcasting programs. It is appeared question,why should people not belong to the radio point opposition’s access to broadcasting or not? Do they support the radio materially or other way? Why do the radio staff take part in nasty selecting company of people? Does the speech place in the radio for everybody or only for their favorites? These questions and their appearing don’t give good mark for the Radio’s activities. I hope the board staff of the radio will think about it seriously. And the radio will rebuilt it’s former job as being alternative speech place for insulted and justice people,nobody use censorship to dislike people,and put obstacles for their casting in the radio. The radio’s one of the main tasks is to give opportunity to everyone who wants to speak. In opposite,the radio like Uzbek mass media will be turned into service and become served only to one group of people.

“Birdamlik” movement is expecting 50 thousand people taking part in its planning social complaining action “Osh”. 10.10.2011

“Birdamlik” movement is calling the people of Uzbekistan to three days anti bureaucratic social action “Osh’. By the official statements of the movement in internet sites,the members of the movement have decided to organize three social complain days in the country because of people’s complain and applies are being ignored and neglected by the authorities in any levels in Uzbekistan. On 12th,13th,and 14th of October the event is planning to be held.

By the statement of “Birdamlik” “Osh” action will begin near the Alay bazaar in Tashkent and people will continue marching towards the building of Republic Court. On that day people in Shahrisabs will gather near the Arabon market and do marching to the district Hokimiyat. Everybody can join to the action but they should have their applies in their hands. Because by “Birdamlik” statement these complains will be handed either to the Republic Court or district’s hokimiyat. The members of the “Birdamlik” say it’s planned to organize these actions in every viloyats and districts in Uzbekistan. Of course,people would gather to social action “Osh” should be marching to the viloyat and district hokimiyats. From 5 to 50 thousand people are taking part in these actions and is expected to be in Uzbekistan. One of the conditions of the movement is that it should be written in a short complain not exceeding more than one page. “Birdamlik” movement is calling the government not to use any power to peaceful demonstrators and not to organize any provocations among the people. They express that these actions will not break the constitution of Uzbekistan. Also “Birdamlik” movement is calling the government of Uzbekistan to remember how Muammar Kaddafy’s dictator regime was fallen because of his using army power to peaceful demonstrators in Lebanon. By the information of “Liberty” some members of BM in Uzbekistan said not to take part in this action. The following talk to the leader of Movement Bahodir Choriev should be listened.

Nobody came to “Birdamlik” “Osh”

Nobody came to “Birdamlik” “Osh” (social complain),but members of BM hope it’s achieving. 12.10. 2011

Movement leader B,Choriyev was expecting from 5 to 50 thousand peoples’ taking part in this action and their marching from Alay bazaar to the Republic Court.” On 12 October but nobody came to the action besides Dlorom Ishokova “,- said the member of BM Malohat Eshonkulova. The human rights alliance members in Uzbekistan also wanted to join to the action. “ Our members of alliance went to Alay market to join to the action but people’s action of not coming caused members go back,- says the leader of the human rights alliance in Tashkent Elena Urlaeva.

Because of the citizens complains and applies have been being neglected and ignored by the authorities in any levels in Uzbekistan BM has been planning three days anti bureaucratic social complain actions in the country. By the opinion of Dilorom Iskhokova,there is strong disbelief among the people about having justice.—People don’t believe the court system. A lot of people were informed about today’s event,but they were scared and we understand their conditions,–said D,Iskhokova. The leaders of “ Birdamlik” said that they were planning to hold the action “Osh” in the capital city and other viloyats and districts in Uzbekistan. We haven’t had any information from the viloyats yet. The member of movement Abdulla Tojiboy said that he couldn’t go out today. —-I’m at home prisoner now and I don’t have any information about what is happening outside,–he said. A. Tojiboy added if the abroad leaders of the movement could learn the real situation and after all,they gave concerning proclamation they would be on respect either in or out of the country.

—-I think,they make statements in abroad in a hurry without learning the inside situation,–says A. Tojiboy. But “Birdamlik” members hope to achieve their event plans. —We have three days,we hope people’s joining to action,–says Malahat Eshonkulova.

People didn’t come to “Birdamlik” “Osh” yet.

On 13 October,some members of the movement in Karshi,Namangan and Tashkent tried to hold “Osh” social complain action. According to Some actives of “Birdamlik” in Tashkent,five members of the movement were waiting for people joining to their action near the Alay bazaar,but nobody joined them. At that moment the member of the “Birdamlik in Karshi,Bashorat Khidirova,in her interview to the radio “Liberty” said that she was the only member of movement came to the old market of the town with placards in her hands,but in some times they were attacked by the leader of mahalla committee and the placards were taken by him.

–We were in picket. We had placards about broken human rights in Uzbekistan. Then Salomat joined to me. I also gave her placard with the words –“Osh” social action of Birdamlik movement’. Allaev,the chairman of viloyat mahalla committee,took the placard with force too. —We were under the 30 persons’ observer but nobody of population came to us and joined. Might be if we had our placards in our hands people would have join us? — said Bashorat Khidirova who was near old market in Karshi about one hour.

The leader of “Birdamlik” Bahodir Choriev who took the policy sanctuary from the USA government,on 10 October predicted that his movement was going to hold “Osh” social action on 12-14th October in Uzbekistan and from 5 to 50 thousand people would take part in this action. On 12 October,the members of movement also didn’t come to “Osh’ in Tashkent and it’s active A. Tojiboy in his interview to “Liberty” said ,-‘ if the leaders in abroad first learned the real situation in the country,and after that they would have statements about having a respect to either in or out of the country’.

Today “Birdamlik” movement is organizing charity lottery to the 19th anniversary of the Constitution of Uzbekistan in Tashkent. By the information of the movement members this action is planning to take part near the Alay market in Tashkent. It is going to present the Constitution book and $100 to the speakers who will do an interesting speech in the meeting. This year in October “Birdamlik” organized “Osh” social complain action in Tashkent and in the viloyat centers. “Birdamlik” call wasn’t noticed in Tashkent. Only one person supported “Birdamlik” in Namangan and about 20 in Karshi.

On 7 December “Birdamlik” Movement organized “Osh” social complain action to the 19th anniversary of the Constitution of Uzbekistan near the Alay bazaar in Tashkent. By the words of the leader of “Birdamlik” in Uzbekistan Malahat Eshonkulova 13 people came to the event and about 35 Constitution books were presented to people. But according to her words,the main aim of the action to provide charity lottery was failed. – The fund of the lottery was $2000. 20 games every win for $50 and jackpot for $1000. Also planned $100 presents to our active members. But the action failed because of not having a special permission.’—said M. Eshonkulova.

We consider that “Liberty” radio must limit unfaith activities. It must always be justice to serve democracy. But sometimes the journalists of the radio are busy to make Islamic direction programs under the democracy. We are in respect to Islam as true Muslim. But we consider that some democratic voices which are fighting against the existing regime in Uzbekistan are choked by “Liberty” Radio journalists. And we demand to stop this negative process immediately. By our mind,the Radios “Liberty” and “American voice” are wasting millions American people’s tax payment in dollars. Sorrowfully,it is losing Uzbek people’s hope to wait for the next day and democracy. The journalists of “Liberty” brothers Bobojonovs and Mekhribon Bakieva are in a dispute of their compatriot M. Solikh,and their colleagues,Zamira and Alisher Siddiq,are also in one side position in their activities. They refuse all democratic oppositions,but M. Solikh’s party which promises to set Islamic regime in Uzbekistan and come to power with the bloodshed and violence struggle of way is supported by the Radio permanently having speech times in the radio. We are in opposite to this unjust position. Our main task is today to struggle against being in a dispute one side position in the Radio”Liberty”.
